1987
Rahim Textile Mills Limited​

After nearly six years of planning and development, Rahim Textile Mills Limited became operational as one of Bangladesh's first fabric dyeing & printing mills for both knit and woven fabrics.

1991
Malek Spinning Mills PLC. Limited

Malek Spinning Mills PLC. Limited (MSML) was established as Bangladesh's first, fully- private, state-of-the art spinning mill with c.7,000 spindles. Today, MSML has nearly 64,000 spindles and is considered one of the premiere yarn suppliers in Bangladesh, for knit apparel manufacturing.

Knit Asia Limited

Upon establishing a leading market position in Bangladesh's textiles industry in the 1990s, the New Asia Group decided to pursue a forward integration into the Ready-Made Garments (RMG) sector by establishing Knit Asia Limited, whose focus would be on manufacturing men's casualwear / sportswear.

2006
Knit Asia Limited

Due to the rapid growth in Bangladesh's RMG sector, Knit Asia Limited decided to make a strategic expansion and built it's own knit fabric processing unit. This enabled it to shorten its lead time for RMG orders, considerably.

2014
Expansion

In 2014, the New Asia Group decided to further strengthen its position within Bangladesh's Knit RMG sector, by acquiring Aurum Sweater Limited and, thereby, diversifying its knit apparel product offering, as well as its geographic distribution of exports to places like Australia and South America.

2014/15
Consolidation

In May 2014, the New Asia Group expanded Titas Denim Limited and built a state-of- the-art denim garments facility. Subsequently, in October 2014, Titas Denim Limited was merged with Salek Textiles Limited to form Bangladesh's first fully vertically-integrated denim factory.
